Kandiyohi County CEO Program
RELCO is a proud supporter of the Kandiyohi County CEO Program. Each year, students from Willmar, New London and ACGC can apply for the course. The class meets Monday-Friday for one year and students earn two high school credits along with college dual accreditation through Ridgewater College. RELCO donates $1,000 annually to the program and the group of students utilize our board room as their home base for six weeks.Learn More
KMS School Welding Program
RELCO staff spend three days a week introducing students to TIG welding and learn necessary skills that are desired in the welding industry. RELCO is happy to support this initiative with resources and materials to build a grill totaling approximately $10,000.
“Lots of failure has lead to a lot of improvement. I would definitely recommend the welding class to others. Tayler is really helpful and I’m learning a lot.”
– Josh Peterson, KMS 2018 Senior & Class VP
“It’s great that RELCO is willing to come into our school to work with our students and provide materials to learn welding skills needed in the workforce. We are grateful that Tayler and Al are able to take time out of their busy schedule to work with us!”
– Reed Adrian, KMS Industrial Technology Instructor
“It’s really rewarding to see my vision for this program come to life. The students have impressed me with their improved work each week. I sincerely enjoy the opportunity to share my welding passion with the KMS welding class.”
